Oh, my mother would have loved this. She grew up in the 80s. Had me young when she was 17 in 1989. I just missed the 80s but grew up loving the same bands as her. This one definitely rocks hard.

Saw breaking Benjamin in concert a couple years ago and it was awesome. Seeing someone you grew up listening to still improving is pretty cool.

This is my mood for the past year and a half. I dated this man about two years ago. The relationship didn’t last long, but we stayed friends afterwards, even after I tried to get back with him (we spent a few nights together, only for him to toss me aside again when he was tired of me again). He thinks of himself as some meditation guru and I was just never enlightened enough for him and he ran out of patience trying to get me there. Anyways, my dumb ass stayed friends with him. He volunteered to be my support person when recovering from a surgery. From the moment he arrived at the airbnb we shared, he expressed interest in my oxycontin. I was prescribed 45 of them but wasn’t planning to take them-I don’t like the side effects, I don’t like the withdrawal, and I sure as hell did not want to get addicted. So, after trying to pressure me into giving him them, he ended up stealing nearly all of them, claiming he had a bad gout flare because he walked home from the hospital (which he volunteered to do). Then when he leaves, he tells me a flagrantly bullshit lie about the missing pills, walks it back as a joke, then claims that he thought something I’d said was a “sly nod” that I was okay with him taking nearly all of them. He had absolutely no right to the pills. I was uncomfortable with sharing them either for his recreational use or to treat his gout. The only thing I did wrong was fail to set a more firm boundary. The reason I didn’t was because in the past he would either be dismissive or outright arrogant and cruel. I didn’t want him getting hooked, and he ended up helping himself to 41 oxy over the course of three and a half weeks and then plays the victim, and even more infuriatingly, also has the nerve to say “after everything I did for you”. To make matters worse, he works at a place where I made a lot of happy memories and what I thought were good friends. I went there for a couple events despite him being there, I avoided and ignored him as much as I could. But this was not enough. He was upset with me for having told people about what happened, saying that I was “running around town badmouthing him and now I’m at his place of work [to harass him].” He accused me of stalking and torture, and banned me from the place against the wishes of his boss and his coworkers. And despite all this, he comes out smelling like roses again, and I’m left with a devastated heart, a fractured support network, feeling like a pariah in my own community. I was scared to speak out about it and it’s been six months so it might be too late. Damn me for not just exposing his darkness to the whole world sooner. So, so much of this song resonates with me, it’s actually fucking wild.

MIGHT I SAY, THIS SONG IS ABOUT SOMETHING SO MUCH DEEPER THAN AN ALMOST MISSED FLIGHT

It looks reasonably 80s, apart from the guys. They're too beefy. A real 80s band woukd only have a max of one beefy guy. Plus the hair. Its too short for that kind of pop group in 87. Also the chin beard is a big no-no.

So the guys wear muzzles but the singer does not, what is the point? So pathetic. Muzzled dogs.
